Which brand of wood stove would you choose to buy for tent camping, Gstove or Winnerwell stove?
Did anyone buy pomoly Dweller stove? Are there any real comments or reviews? It seems to be a good stove. I'm saving money for it.
Any Real Reviews on Luxe Hercules winter Hot Tent? Going to buy it next week.

Pros and Cons of OneTigris Smokey HUT Ultralight Hot Tent
just burnt in a little Seek Outside stove, the smallest one they make- the Cub; box is 6x6x9", weight with 5.5' of pipe is only 28 oz
will be using it in a SO Silvertip pyramid (two person sand stove, one person with stove); I'm thinking about a little larger shelter in case my wife wants to go and am now convinced this stove will be more than sufficient for a 4 person (two w/ stove) as well
the little stove puts out more than enough heat for this (or similar sized) shelter, easy to put together (and take apart) and so light, it easy to justify bringing it
Bic lighter for scale
I have been fiending to get out and do some winter camping in a hot tent since I stumbled across some YouTube videos on it a while back. I also like projects and not spending $400+ on a lightweight tent stove (Yet) so I decided to build my own.
I saw a video where a guy used steam table pans to create a stove and decided to go that route for my first stove. I of course am adding my own twist on it and making little improvements where I can.
My version has a 3" start collar where the pipe is going to attach so I didn't have to try and form a fit there with a hammer and a jig. The restaurant pans are fairly sturdy and this was just an overall easier option. I also sealed around the stove connection with some high heat RTV sealant just for peace of mind and to limit any leaks in that area.
I am thinking about getting into hot tenting for winter camping and the prices on stoves seems really high $400 plus on some. Any suggestions on affordable brands? How good are homemade stoves compared?
