New Homemade Hammock Hot Tent
#1

Pic is of a new hammock hot tent that I recently sewed. It measures 9'x12' and is 7' high. Weight comes in at less than 10 lbs. All that remains is to sew in my stove jack on the one end, and it is complete.
It is positively spacious inside. The top is 100% cotton. There are two colors on the top because there was not enough of the stark white cotton to make the tent the size I wanted to, so I used some other cotton that I had on hand.
Bottom is a silpoly that I got from Rip Stop by the Roll for a very good price. It was supposed to be a second, but I can't find a flaw on it. We are supposed to get rain later today and I think I am going to leave it up to see how waterproof it is.
Stretched a tarp over it because it is supposed to rain tonight.
Update: Slept out there and got up to an inch of new, wet, heavy snow. Tent held up fine.
